“You dont make art, you find it” Pablo Picasso,
“To practice any art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow. So do it.” Kurt Vonnegut

Did you know that all ancient civilizations, including Balinese practiced art as to please the Gods, and in return manifest what they want?
We will dedicate this time in the workshops to be present with what is, our feelings, processes, depth, our light and shadows. What immerges is always refreshing and empowering and besides other many gifts we receive the gift of inner guidance.
“I don’t have a degree in arts but after I left my job as a diplomat and moved to Bali 9 years ago where I practiced dance, singing and writing for 6 years which helped me heal many issues such as codependecy and step into my purpose as a coach. This is my edge I help people reconnect with creativity and joy by practicing art to get healed, aligned and in love with life.”
Iva is a passionate dancer and finds dance her place of worship. She studied dance as the method of self-expression and self-healing (and a ritual of self love) in the past 5 years from Spirit Dance Soul Song of Ellen Watson, 5 rhythms of Gabrielle Roth, and facilitators of Biodanza. She also studied dance exploration with Tina Boyles Bayley, former ballerina, dance choreographer from US, a founder of Narwastu Community on Bali, as well as Diane Butler a dance teacher and culture lecturer at Udayana University.
Iva has been studying choir and individual singing for 5 years in Bali Community Choir, Jane Chen Suara Yoga, and Hrvoje Sekulic, vocal coach.
“I believe each one of us has a blueprint of our highest potential and guaranteed success based on our
passions and our mission is to discover it by believing in ourselves and learning how to connect to innerguidance on daily basis.”
By quitting her job in diplomacy and moving to Bali 7 years ago, she made a radical shift from doing what world thinks is successful, to discovering her own personal values, inner guidance, passion and purpose. Instead of being high achieving robot, doing what society thinks, she begun defining who she is by simply being and doing what she loves.
She is certified in Reiki healing, Theta, and NLP Practitioner’s Master’s level. She has also completed Mindfulness at University of Leiden and Facilitators Posture form Start Results Coaching.
The beauty of her work as coach and facilitator lies in her love for engaging both with groups and individuals, finding where the patterns and systems are interrupted and that’s where your best blueprint can emerge. She is a hybrid of intro-extrovert, so she understands the internal processes and can relate and connect well with the individuals and as an extrovert share the knowledge and motivate people naturally.

It wasn’t till her time in Neail’s Yard Bakery in London, that she fully understood her calling, her passion. Since her first yoga class, she become a dedicated yoga practitioner and a teacher, and her focus on food as medicine and energy become the priority. Ever since then, Joki had been learning, studying about food and nutrients and cooking for retreats all over the world, working with amazing teachers and through every job that she does, and every person that she meets, there is always something more to learn. ‘It is wonderful to first do yoga and then eat a meal that is pure, organic and packed with nutrients. It is like a double dose of wellness. For me, food at yoga retreat or any retreat is very important. Menu is designated to nourishing your body and mind during asana and meditation practice. By creating tasty, vegan, gluten free, refine sugar free foods that relaxes the mind and touches the soul, beautiful way to introduce participants to a new, healthy way of eating, that leaves them energized, full and satisfied. My food is light, easy to digest, fresh, freshly made, contain enzymes, full of fiber, whole grains and good bacteria. The way I see it, food is healing, food is energy, food is medicine, food is fun!’

Joki can’t wait to meet and connect with many more of you, share with you and learn from you…
