‘My soul honors your soul. I honor the place in you where the entire Universe resides. I honor the light, love, truth, beauty and peace within you, because it is also within me. In sharing these things we are united, we are the same, we are one. Namaste.’

Ancient Yogis believed that in order for man to be in balance and harmony with himself and his environment, he has to integrate the body, mind and spirit. For the three to be integrated, emotion, action and intelligence will need to be in balance. They created a way to achieve and maintain this balance through exercise, breathing and meditation which form the three main pillars of Yoga structures.

Sound healing, an ancient healing technique that uses tonal frequencies to bring the body into a state of vibrational balance and harmony or deep meditation state. Singing bowls, gongs, Tibetian bowls, tuning forks, koshi and drums are the instruments that practitioners most often use in sessions.

During a sound healing session, also known as a sound bath, you’ll typically lie down on the floor on a yoga mat, and simply listen up as a practitioner plays a variety of instruments and you “bathe” in the soothing sounds and vibrations. The sound frequencies then slow down brain waves to a deeply restorative state, which activates the body’s system of self-healing.Through Lymphatic system or through the water that has a claster structure, which means that has a memory, sound program and carry this new information all the way to a cellular level. Healing through touch of sound, it’s a form of sensory therapy, and it has been used by various cultural groups for centuries.
This summer Retreats Croatia is organising a magical yoga and sound healing retreat on Hvar, sunniest island in Croatia. It is a great healing holiday as it appeals to people of a wide age range and physical condition with different levels of fitness and can easily be adapted to. Holistic healing body massage therapist and yoga instructor

Stela started discovering her spirituality at very early age. Interested in human body in general, amazed with it’s anatomy and all the aspects of human wellbeing led her to massage therapist graduation. Strong desire to help others held her 8 years working with people where she realized body is much more than pure matter itself. Her insight of body and mind connection encouraged further personal development. She perfected unique massage technique of combining physical touch with holistic approach in order to bring the body into balance at all levels.

She started practicing yoga within a small island community where she uses yoga as a tool to deepen her path of self-discovery. During 5 years of personal practice and numerous yoga workshops throughout Europe and India she was trained by many incredible teachers that have inspired every step of the journey. She enrolled a teacher training program under the mentorship of Lea Lončar.

Her yoga teaching is rooted in the breath-based style bringing her students a depth of experience in Hatha, Power Vinyasa and Dharma style yoga. She regularly includes breathing exercises (pranayama) and meditation in her classes. Combining personal insight and precise teachings she holds the deepest intention to awaken others to their own healing power and to experience the joy of self-awareness.

Dunja Butorović

My first yoga discovery took place in 2001 in London, England. Love at first sight, but lack of maturity and circumstances. My life brings me back home in 2009 and few years later, after the graduation in Tourism , I am discovering yoga practice and starting to take classes with my first teacher seriously and with all my heart in local studio on the island of Hvar. After almost 2 years of intense and regular yoga practice, by recommendation I went to Divya Yoga school in Zagreb and got enrolled to a yoga teacher training under the mentorship of Sandra Petra Pintaric in 2016.
Grateful for the beautiful leadership, the priceless knowledge two years later I am getting a diploma from Yoga Alliance teacher training RYT 200, recognized internationally throughout the world as Hatha Vinyasa teacher. My life began to change after meeting my teacher Andrei Ram in Barcelona, the same year when I took a teacher training in Zagreb. Life transformation begins. I feel humbled and grateful that I met a teacher who helped me to grow and realize my true self. Through yoga practice, I return and connect with Mother nature, a true source of my existence…… my sanctuary. I am trying through my teaching and skills to transfer a bit of this sacred ancient science so that each individual who comes to a yoga class can experience through breath, body and mind true meaning of self. I am teaching a regular hatha breath based yoga classes at Hotel Amfora, in island of Hvar since 2016 and I am founder of facebook page Yoga Hvar . I am currently finishing two-year multi style yoga studies in Split under the mentoring of Lea Loncar and Nikola Drviš Grk. Grateful for every new opportunity to learn and be.

Over the past 3 years I have been actively organizing various yoga workshops on Hvar, famous yoga teachers and a group of yoga trips throughout congresses in Europe. I cooperate with various VIP clients, yachts, agencies and conduct private classes at clients’ request as well as regular yoga classes. Over the past few years, I have attended various European yoga events and constantly searching for inspiration from world-renowned yoga teachers like Sri Dharma Mitrra.
